Server on Ubuntu Desktop?

Is there a way i can setup ubuntu desktop as a server for http php and mysql. can i put lamp on it? i dont want to use the server ubuntu because im a linux neebie but i know servers. is there a single package i can download and install? i didnt see one in the add remove programs

There isn't a single package, you need to install these:
apache2 php5-mysql libapache2-mod-php5 mysql-server
