How to enable Personal File Sharing

Asked by J.D.

I'm trying to link all my ubuntu computers together on my network. When I go to Preferences-->Pesonal File Sharing, It tells me that I don't have the necessary packages installed to allow for this. When I search the Ubuntu Software Center for Personal File Sharing, IT only shows me results of items that are confirmed to be installed.
How can I enable this so that I can easily exchange files between my Ubuntu Netbook and Desktops?

The two packages you need to install to activate that are:
apache2
libapache2-mod-dnssd

You may need to restart after installing them, but it worked for me without it.

I can now see my netbook, and my netbook can see me. I can push and pull from the netbook to the desktop, but the desktop fails to mount the netbook and times out. Another question, for another string. Thanks for the help.
