Amsn wont sign in

I installed amsn from the add/remove applications but when I sign in it just keeps on signing in. It wont stop and say password i wrong or cannot connect. It is like there is no time out.

This seems to be an issue currently with aMSN. A friend of mine uses it, however I use emesene instead, and I am able to sign in just fine.

May I suggest trying to run emesene temporarily, to see if it's just aMSN that isn't working, you can install it by running "sudo apt-get install emesene" as it's in the Ubuntu repositories.

Thanks man I tried Emesene earlier but it wouldn't show my contacts. Seems to work fine now though.
