amarok 2 does not work properly

Please try to reinstall amarok purging it...

Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type or copy and paste:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get --purge --reinstall install amarok amarok-common
sudo apt-get clean

-- give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter
