Playlists save to desktop - How to change?

Asked by windfix

I'm using Intrepid, just started building my playlists. Problem is, the .m3u files are saving to the desktop. How can I change the location of the saves? I can not find any setting inside Amarok.

You can goto:
 Playlist->Add Media (keyboard: Win-A)
Select the directory and press enter.
This will add all the songs in the directory.
Then goto
Playlist->Save Playlist As (Ctl-S)
To create and save your playlist.

If you want to import from your collection. Simply drag and drop required folders/songs from the collection in main window on the right.
Then save the playlist :
Playlist->Save Playlist As (Ctl-S)

Thanks, Bhavani. Just calling my attention to the Playlist submenu helped. I created a new folder /home/playlists and moved the files there. The playlist titles in Amarok were still there, but now empty. I deleted them, then used right-click on the playlist header and imported the .m3u files. Worked fine and now the playlists are filed neatly in their own directory.
