I can't get sound while using EDUBUNTU 10.04-12

I was using Gigabyte GA-G31M-ES2L Mother board.Now I am using IT@SCHOOL EDUBUNTU 10.04-12 by Govt.OF Kerala.But I can't Get sound while using this OS.I also try to install audio drivers...no use.Please help me.

Ubuntu/Edubuntu 10.04 is - as far as I know - currently end-of-life and no longer supported.

I strongly suggest installing Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, which is supported and will receive updates until April 2017.
