Audio crackling after recent package update.

Asked by William King

After upgrading package within Natty recently an audio crackling has started. I have tested with headphones and on two different audio ports and it is not my speakers. After initial upgrade to Natty from Maverick there was no crackle.

Any advice?

Seems that the package: linux-alsa-driver-modules-2.6.38-11-generic was not installed when I upgraded the kernel.
