how to install adobe reader in a laptop

My daughter have a laptop from dell inspiron 910 and she is not able to install the Adobe reader. Is possible you send instructions for she known how to do this as soon as possible, thanks. Sincerely,

 explains how to enable the the ubuntu partner repos then via synaptic search for acroread package and apply; the download will commence and install the package.
