Ubuntu 11.04 reboots on shutdown
Asked by
Dennis Cummins
This is a new install on an Intel DG945GCLF ITX motherboard. This computer has been running Ubuntu 9.04 for a very long time with no problems. I have reinstalled twice and still get the same problem. On any shutdown, even from the Terminal the same thing happens. I am not deeply into the nuts and bolts of Linux but I have enjoyed having a Linux box for years. Any suggestions for a fix or maybe a suggestion for a different distro would be appreciated.
ITX form factor
Intel Atom 230 processor 1.6GHZ
Intel 945GC and ICH7 chipset
Realtek ALC662 Audio
Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950
I have checked the BIOS and did not find anything that would be a problem. I disabled wake-on-lan but not change.
Thanks
Dennis
