Never push the power button to force a shutdown on a working system...

Please note instead of press the Reset or power button to reboot the pc please try this:

To manage the freeze of your system and even Ctrl+Alt+Del doesn’t work anymore, the mouse is stuck on the screen any none of the key combinations will work, don’t think of the reset button just yet.

Hold down the Right Alt and SysRq keys and press this sequence:

R E I S U B

This will cleanly unmount drives, terminate processes and nicely reboot your machine.

To shutdown your pc please Open Terminal from "Applications->Accessories->Terminal" and use (type then press enter) this terminal command:

shutdown -h now

Then please also be sure your system is fully update/upgraded from menu System → administration → Update manager
press the Verify button and update your system by installing the proposed packages if there are any

Can you help with this problem?
