Asked by dishantbt05

The network manager freezes upon booting up in presence of Wifi connection. I have to switch off the and again switch on to connect wifi automatically. So many times it do not connect and the wireless connection option do not appear with check box.
How to solve this problem to get immediately connected to wifi on boot up?

Install wicd if you do not use 3G

Works a charm, you may have to run:

sudo apt-get --purge remove network-manager*

To remove the network manager.
