dosn't connect dsl wired conection

 please help . i m using ubuntu 9.10 i can not connect my dsl connection automatic connection connected but i cant surf anything
so please help . show me easy way cause i m new in Linux.

It's a know problem.

Try the updated version of network manager in ppa.
