Encountered a fatal error with the program Banshee, how do I remove the database files?

While opening the application Banshee, a message pops up" Banshee Encountered a Fatal Error, Exception has been thrown by target of an evocation." I removed the program and reinstalled it the tried to launch the application and same message comes up. Now I'm trying to remove the data base files but unsure how and where to find - dir ~/.config/banshee-1, so I can remove it.
