help game problem ubuntu

Hi! i play diablo2 lord of destruktion. but cant get it to work in ubuntu. The problem is it takes about 10min to start the game and in the game screen is just black. Ive got some help from a friend but he cant solve the problem. I dont get any error msg. and i got drivers for my graphic card ( gigabyte ati radeon hd 2600 pro(Pci-express)). Mabey dont support linux?.Motherboard: Asus m2a-vm HDMI, Cpu: amd athlon64 x2 6400+, Memory: 1gb ddr2 kingston,
Im new to this but please give me a simple description if u know what the problem is please. thanks for all the help i can get
