Do multitouch & ubuntu play nice?

I've been looking at a buying a refurb'ed Dell Studio One 19 (http://gadgets.boingboing.net/gimages/dellstudio19.jpg). How does Ubuntu do with touch[multi-touch]-systems like this?
Anyone have any experience with this? How far out are we from getting this kind of support?

Ive not use multitouch myself but seems it can be done. There are some youtube vids with people having it work so you could ask the authors of the videos how they got it configured.

It will be an xorg config.
