web TV software

There is "tv on pc" software for windows, internet feeds for television and movies online. Is there anything like that for Ubuntu or Linux in general ? Thank-You !

There is a great program called Livestation. I use it a lot.

Just download it and register. When ever you need to reinstall or even install it on a othe PC, Linux, Windows whatever, you log in to the program and all your settings are there.

When you´re downloading, the website tells you how to install. Very easy.

The best free solution that I've seen is Mythbuntu. It's a customized version of Ubuntu running MythTV. More details are here:

There is also a commercial product called the Neuros LINK based on the above (if you don't want to be troubled with configuring and installing software):

Why are you having problems with this? In fact it´s very easy to uninstall if you want. Just read the manual in it.

@ rrnwexec. Mythbuntu does not have what Livestation has. Tried it.

Anyway. These are just a few hints for the question. So let him decide what to do.

Like I said. Just do this to uninstall Livestation.

To uninstall Livestation run the following commands as root:

cd /usr/local
rm -rf Livestation
cd /usr/bin
rm livestation
rm Livestation

Very EASY.
