Username/Password

Asked by nowayjose

My computer is currently running Ubuntu (an ex-boyfriend installed it) and I have no idea what the username and password are - is there anyway to bypass the username/password screen?

How can we belive thats you are the owner of that system . .

If we guide you to reset password of some others system then its not legal.

But i can guide you now to find username.

Just go to recovery mode during start up and type

ls /home

It will display the usernames as home directory contains folder for every user in their specific name.

at the bottom of the screen you can find 'options' , click that and enter as a guest user

Can you help with this problem?
