why some files are losed when no free space left on partition?

Asked by dinar qurbanov

why file to which php script wrote has cleared when 0 byte place left on the partition? php opens file, writes to it and closes it. how can it be deleted or zerro-sized? also gnome/nautilus bookmarks has been losed. and also terminal command history is losed on that situation. these happened several times in my ubuntu installations.

You close an application... the App tries to write a new or is appending an old config/history/etc... and has no place to write. -> Lost.
