Why there was not released one Ubuntu netbook remix lpia version?

Asked by erlguta

With the new version of Ubuntu 9.04 there was released one version designed for Netbooks, but i can see there is only one i386 version.
Most netbooks are Intel Atom Based, so i don't understand why there was not released one Ubuntu netbook remix lpia version?... becuase install it with one alternate-lpia.iso version and installing the ubuntu-netbook-remix and ubuntu-netbook-remix-default meta-packages makes not does exactly the same appearance (you must tune it), and it is one advanced topic.
Thank you.

This is the first time there has been a netbook edition in the releases. Perhaps with 9.10 in 6 months time we can expect to see more architectures covered, especially the most popular ones ;) It's good to see a netbook remix become 'mainstream' :) Frustrating until 9.10 tho, and no guarantees. Perhaps this link might help a little but will obviously need some tweaking as these things often do

Yes, maybe it might be too much work to do if a final version lpia if it is not going to succeed or is not heavily used.
I hope you have a version lpia in the future because the NETBOOK remix is great!.
