i have an updated ubuntu 20.04.i registered for a free token from ubuntu pro but after doing allll of the steps.pasted tocken generate this error:

sudo ua attach xxxxxx
Failed to attach machine. See https://ubuntu.com/pro

I have this same problem and the links provided by Mr Stafford are the instructions I followed when this error came up. Since both of those links do not talk about the "failed to attache machine" message, is there anyone that can help us resolve this problem?

Hi there,

I faced the same problem, but it got solved after I disabled the firewall (with OpenSnitch frontend)...
