Secure Boot image does not contain luks2 module

I am currently trying to setup full disk encryption using luks2 with ubuntu 22.04 (grub 2.06). I would also like to use Secure Boot.

Unfortunately, the Secure Boot grub image does not contain the luks2 module (but the luks module), which would be required, as loading the module is not possible due to Secure Boot but is required to unlock the drive in order to load the kernel. The only alternative seems to be to not use the signed versions and use an individual key to sign a custom grub image.

During my research, I also found, that a similar situation already happened before (for the luks module): https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/1565950 . Hence, I wanted to ask, whether it seems reasonable to include the module in the signed packet and, if so, what the best way to ask for its inclusion would be (file a bug report?).
