Night mode doesn't work at all in Ubuntu 20.10 on my Raspberry Pi 4

Asked by Thomas R.

Hello,

I've installed Ubuntu 20.10 on my Raspberry Pi 4 (8GB RAM) since a few weeks.
It's a pleasure to use Ubuntu, because it's very fast and it works perfectly with my 29" screen.

But... There is a but... Night mode (in Settings) doesn't work at all !
I've tried the application Redshift, but it's the same problem.
I've always the blue colors (bad for my eyes the evening).

Could you please tell me how to understand why it doesn't work ?

Thank you for your help!

Thomas

In settings -> Displays ->Click Night Light -> Night Light - Move Toggle switch to ON -> Adjust settings desired.
If Night Light does not work try turning Night Light Off completely. Restart Computer Turn it back on.
You may want to try Night Light in manual schedule (Time) to see if it is working.

Can you help with this problem?
