xpads sticky notes storage system location

My ubuntu 18.04 operating system crashed. I'm recovering personal files with xubuntu 18.04 on usb. I want to retrieve the xpad sticky note files. Can someone please tell me where xpad stores the files.

Hi Manfred, thankyou for the link, I couldn't find the xpad folder as directed in the link under /.config/xpad, but as I was looking in the /.config folder, I soon remembered I had been using the fold back version of ubuntu with Matacity, when I stumbled upon /.config/gnome-applets/sticky-notes/sticky-notes.xml, and everything I wanted was there.
