modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'rtl8822be': Exec format error

I am using a laptop having dual systems of Windows and ubuntu. Everything was OK for months, but recently my wifi does not work.

When I type (in the path of rtlwifi_new-extended)

sudo modprobe rtl8822be

I got his error message:

modprobe: ERROR: could not insert 'rtl8822be': Exec format error

Anyone knows how to solve it?

Open a terminal window in the rtlwifi directory and do

make clean
make
sudo make install

Reboot
