check your bios, sometimes they have several different boot from USB options like USB-floppy, USB-HD, USB-thumbdrive, etc

do you have any other USB devices installed on your computer. When you say it doesn't like ubuntu, what does that mean? the install didn't work, the installer doesn't accept the ISO file?

You should make sure that your USB drive is set first in your BIOS (it could also be under the harddisk section, just make sure it's first).

Perhaps it's also possible to select it in the boot device selection menu, but not all motherboards have that.

I suggest you remake the USB boot stuff, perhaps it really is corrupt

Can you help with this problem?
