Ubuntu

i went into bios i it stated that i had cd first floppy second and hard drive was 3rd ok i put in the cd restarted about 10 times and it never read the disk the disk had ubuntu on it. i couldn't even get to the install do i need another install to get to the cd ? its sort of a 2 part awnser.

Hi, maybe the cd is corrupted, check the md5sum of the iso file. Another frequently reason could be that you choose the wrong speed for burning the cd, try 8x instead of 54x or wahtever speed you chose.
