Power PC Compatibilty with Ubuntu

Hiya Folks,
Is my 600MHz PPC 750 G3 640MB PowerBook 4,3 a viable system to use Ubuntu?

Ubuntu doesn't support PPC, but there are ports for it.

I think you're looking for:
Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy heron Desktop CD:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/hardy/release/ubuntu-8.04.1-desktop-powerpc.iso

Ubuntu 8.10 Intrepid Ibex Alternate (Text-install) CD:
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/ports/releases/intrepid/release/ubuntu-8.10-alternate-powerpc.iso

Otherwise, I suggest using debian testing:
http://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/weekly-builds/powerpc/iso-cd/
(The 1st CD is enough for a basic desktop installation)
