My Settings are not saving when i reboot is ther File system problem

When every i reboot the system it does not save my settings is there any file system issue

i m currently using fat32 and there is an icon of Desktop [Install] do i have to complete that step first if this is the problem then in prepare partition there are no partitions in that dialog

do i have to create a new partition table for it.

if you have the install icon it implies either that:
* you still didn't install, or
* you installed but keep booting from the CD

try first to boot without the CD. if it doesn't work you may need to add a partition for Ubuntu.
