available hard drive
THIS POSTED FIX SENT BY DELL, DID NOT WORK. CAN ANYONE HELP ME FIGURE THIS OUT...FIRST TIME USING OPEN SOFTWARE.
We recently discovered a problem that could prevent you from using all of the available hard drive space on your system. Some Mini9’s with 8GB and 16GB hard drives and Ubuntu were configured with an image that allows only 4GB of useable space. This issue can be easily resolved by updating the system software. Here are the steps to complete this process:
1. From the Ubuntu main menu in the top-left corner of the screen, select System→
2. Once the Update Manager window loads, click on "Check", and enter your password when prompted
3. Click on Install Updates to update your system software
4. Once all of the updates are installed, restart your system when prompted.
