t43 fingerprint support ubuntu

Hello everyone. this question was asked many times. And all answers are just for freaks, who're spend them time 24/7 near the PC. actually the question is: when Ubuntu users will receive full GUI install and configure support for fingerprint, something like lunch and enjoy ... like other Ubuntu applications.

As the standing think-finger programm is working... there is no need for the nerds.
Someone has to build a gui... I'm with you in this, but I don't see anyone doing this in time.

Btw: in Intrepid the mentioned way is broken too. So it's even not working at all.
