Installing Netgear WG111v2 Wireless Adaptor
Hi
I am absolutely brand new to Linux. Ubuntu has been recommended to me several times as a better alternative to Windows, so I thought I'd check it out. I'm therefore running Ubuntu directly from a disk before deciding whether to install it as my preferred operating system. However I can't get Ubuntu to recognise my Netgear WG111 v2 wireless adaptor. I have looked at some of the similar FAQs on here but really have no idea about using source code, so I don't know what is meant by "ndiswrapper" nor where to find it, or where to put it.
I'm hoping that some kind, patient soul will hold my hand and point me in the right direction.
Many Thanks
