[Intrepid Ibex] Disbale 3D effects

Hi all.

I need to disable the desktops effects that are by default activated in Intrepid Ibex. I am using Alpha 6. I have looked every where for the settings and have not find them.

The reason is my PC can not handle this effects, it is too slow. I am using a Dual Core 2 2.5GHz, 2GB RAM, Nvidia 8700M with 512 MB (not shared). =S T_T

And it could not handle them on 8.04. But that was easy to disable.

your system configuration is more than enough to handle desktop effects.have you installed nvidia graphics driver

OK, I finally found them.

Favorites --> System Settings --> Desktop...

Yes, I have the nvidia driver installed.
