help download games online

It is not necessary to download games from different websites. Ubuntu comes packaged with a large selection of games.

Using Ubuntu Gnome main menu select Applications->Add/Remove
Set the "Show" Listbox to "Show all available applications"
On the left select Games item

To have more applications listed
Please enable the universe repository:
Open System->Administration->Software sources-> [ Tab Ubuntu software ]
enable "Community Maintained open source software (universe)"
Close and confirm the repository reload.

i am having a problem playing slingo,pogo and many other games online.i did play them before and i dont know what happened and why i can no longer play them....i dont know if something is blocking them ...is there a way i can find this out. thank you very much

Are these windows games or Linux games?

maybe windows but i know you can play them on linux because i have played them on my computer..i have no clue why i cant now,,i wonder if something is blocking me from playing them...i know i have java and flash and all the nessasary apps

As I understand the problem, you are having difficulty playing web based games through you browser. Please let us know which browser you are using as well the website for one of the particular games.

Hi. I'm trying to download the last chaos, for my brother. He wants to play it, but when i click download, it downloads, then I click on it, it says pick an application, then i pick the last chaos, and then when i click okay, nothing happens. I waited a half an hour, and it still didn't work. The website is http://lastchaos.aeriagames.com/ I need help so please anyone help me. Thankyou

you have downloaded a bit torrent file. u must have u torrent and wine to
run the program. u can download u torrent from www.u torrent.com and wine
from add or remove programs.
