Ubuntu 8.0.4 can't see my broadcom wireless interface

Asked by tiger

i have a Broadcom 802.11b/g/n card in my Mac Pro, but Ubuntu 8.0.4 can't seem to see it - the Network panel shows only my two wired ethernet ports and a "point-to-point connection" that appears to be for dialup only (may i never have to use *that*).

anybody know how i can make my wireless card show up? i'd rather not have this cable snaking across the floor... ;)

molte grazie!

Which network panel is that? The network manager interface that comes up when you (right) click the system tray icon?

Can you post your /etc/network/interfaces file here?
