Having problems setting up my printer (Brother MFC 5440CN)

Having problems loading my new printer its a Brother MFC 5440CN I ahve spent a whole 10 hours on this, unable to get it to go, also enlisted experts that were not able to do it. Pls help me

Open a terminal window (Applications menu, Accessories) and type...

sudo apt-get install brother-lpr-drivers-extra

then connect the printer, Open System menu, Administration, Printing and configure the printer.
