UBuntu 7.10

A wile ago I installed 7.10 in my Acer it was good but it was not working like an OS should one thing I forgot was to update in the upper right corner where it says updates are ready but I thought it was going to load a lot of junk like windows was this the reason for all the hick ups when I was using ubuntu

The updates in Ubuntu are improvements to your existing installations. They consist of programme enhancements and security fixes.

They do not add programmes.

It is always a good idea to accept those updates - they are offered purely for your benefit to enhance your journey with Ubuntu.
