how do i view options for bootstrap loader

i want to view options for bootstrap loader..and any commands to make modifications in it

actually there are 2 versions of ubuntu showing in my boot loader.
i wanted to remove one entry how should i do it.

Two versions? You sure you don't mean two kernels? Removing the entry does not remove the kernel. But - you can comment out using ## anything you don't want to appear.
