partition the ubuntu drive

I am using 40gb drive for ubuntu and 60 gb for vista, for some files i cannot run in ubuntu and if i try to use vista it will take 10 minutes to boot up ,so i am planning to install windows xp on 40 gbdrive( ubuntu drive) ,so can anyone tell how to partition the ubuntu drive back to ntfs like 20gb.Do i need to do any further steps to make triple boot after installing xp .

Hi:

you can use gparted to partition your HD. When ou install Windows XP, you will need to reset your GRUB or LILO (the boot loader) you can follow this:

PD: repartitioning can be dangerous, make a copy of your important files.
