silly question about icons

Asked by mrlopes

Hi...

I'm using ubuntu 7.10.

I've got limewire as a shortcut at the top in my tool bar. I didn't like the plug symbol so i changed it to the little green suse symbol.

The other day i noticed the limewire symbol had turned back to the plug symbol but when i went to change it back, the suse symbol plus some others have disappeared.

Funny question i know but i can't remember where the suse symbol came from.

please help....

The suse icon is located at: /usr/share/pixmaps/gnome-suse.png

That icon comes in the gnome-desktop-data package.

If you don't find the icon in /usr/share/pixmaps make sure you have gnome-desktop-data installed and if it is installed try reinstalling it.

I hope that answers your question.
