uninstalling ubuntu 8.04

I want to install ubuntu the real version not just from wubi and before I install it I want to know what is the easiest way to uninstall ubuntu 8.04 for just in case I don't want it any more or it installs and then there is a seriouse error.

uninstalling ubuntu?the real ubuntu not wubi-ubuntu in windows?
if i understand that correctly, you should format the partitions which ubuntu uses to uninstalling/deleting it...
there is only one way..
to do that, u may try to use partition magic to format the partitions while you are on windows..
if i understand your question incorrectly, pls ignore my message.

I still don't get it because on the homepage it said something about easy uninstallation.

the uninstallation is for wubi-ubuntu in windows.not for real ubuntu..
