You downloaded Ubuntu, and burnt it to an .iso? Then you ran the installation CD by restarting the computer into it, and you received this error? You may want to try the Alternate Installation CD (a text-based version of the normal CD), or Wubi, an Ubuntu installer for Windows (http://wubi-installer.org/).

What are you installing it on?

What i did was my friend had it on a thumb drive and he downloaded it from there. I kept the Vista, but i also have Ubuntu, but after it shows the Ubuntu sign at startup (The one where the orange thingy bounces back and forth). Then it goes to "busybox" and i dont know how to get out of it.

It should open to the "The Ubuntu splash screen loads for awhile then exits to a BusyBox/(initramfs) prompt." part.

Can you help with this problem?
