Xubuntu can not find DHCP durring installation

Hi, i just tried installing Xubuntu onto an older PC that has Windows XP on it (empty space for Xubuntu was made)
I am using the text based installation, And i can not find my DCHP.. I know it works cause it runs fine in Windows XP.

Can anyone help me?

Strange... I have the same problem with other versions of Ubuntu on some specific hardwares, and some Debian versions do not work too...
In this versions of Ubuntu, dhcp in installation process works all times on other hardwares, but I don't know more about this hardwares now.
More strange, after installing ignoring dhcp erros and not configuring network, my eth0 with dhcp works! just setup /etc/network/interfaces and ifup eth0.

dhclient3 works fine after reboot. Try it! ;-)

try:
dhclient3 eth0

and see if your dhcp server assigns an IP address to you.
