I can't boot to the Ubuntu CD?
I am new to Linux and excited to get into it, but im having a problem...Maybe im missing something?
I have burnt the image correctly to the CD, Enabled the CD drive in the BIOS and set it as the first device in boot priority. If I put the CD in while windows is running, it brings up the window saying I can boot to it to install. (I'm doing a clean install)
However, when I try to boot to CD, it shows "Boot to CD/DVD: " waits a little while, then boots to windows. I tried hitting "Any Key" when the boot to cd message comes up, but no luck.
Do I just have a bad image somehow? I have re-burnt it to 2 CDs using 2 programs, so I dont think its the cd. plus I really dont want to have to dl it again seeing as I have DSL and it takes an hour. :(
Any help is appreciated!
