Evolution problem: passwords are demanded and then ignored.
I use Evolution on Ubuntu 7.10 with 2 POP accounts that I use for receiving email from my local ISP.
If I exit Evolution with the "Inbox" selected, then when I restart Evolution, I get a dialog box prompting me to "Enter password for <pop account #1>". If I enter the correct password and click OK, then I get another similar dialog box prompting me to "Enter password for <pop account #2>". If I enter the correct password, then click OK, then I get another dialog box "Enter password for <pop account #1>" and so on all over again until I finally get tired and click "cancel" on both dialog boxes.
After all that, I then click "Send/Receive" and Evolution cheerfully goes out and gets my mail with no problems, so I know the passwords stored in Evolution are correct.
Other information:
1) If I exited Evolution with a different email folder selected, I do not get these requests for the email password when I restart Evolution and it all works fine. ONLY if Evolution opens up with the "Inbox" selected as the current folder does it have a problem.
2) I have tried this with the Spamassassin filter turned on with "remote tests" enabled and with all junk filtering turned "off", but it makes no difference.
