when i try to install i get an error message "out of range". What this mean?

I tried to install the o.s ubuntu but i get the following message error after 5 minutes of begining the instalation:
"Out of Range".
What does this mean?

It probably means your monitor resolution is out of range. Try reconfiguring your xserver:

In a terminal (ctrl+alt+f1) type in the following command:

sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg

Choose vesa as your video driver and accept the defualt for most of the rest.
