Not able to manually connect to Wifi networks.

Asked by Deepak

My ubuntu machine auto connects to only 1 wifi network in my home.

Although, I can see multiple WiFi networks in the list, when I select any other network other than mine, nothing happens. I even tried to create a new wireless network by giving network name, wifi security and key and when I click on create, nothing happens.

I tried purging & reinstalling bcmwl-kernel-source but no luck.

Please help me with this weird issue.

Thanks.

As far as I understand, yours card Broadcom.
May be you should read this article
https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/Driver/bcm43xx
especially "Switching between driver", because using few kernel modules may confront with each other.

Can you help with this problem?
