Can you please give a screen shot of the issue. You can use Imageshack or Dropbox public link to make a URL of the image.

You do realise that Nautilus (the default file browser in Ubuntu) can connect to everything that File I'll can. Why are you even bothering with Filezilla?

There is a world of information on the Web about it..

I believe there is an option under the file menu in Nautilus. Even Microsoft's very basic file manager can connect to FTP servers. Nautilus is feature rich and can connect to FTP easily. You can bookmark the connection and manage the files just as you would the local data on your own PC.

You can change the width of the columns

move your mouse to the header line (Filenam Filesize) between the "m" of Filenam and the "F" of Filesize, and the mouse pointer should change into a left-right arrow. Press the mouse button and slide the mouse to the right. This should enlarge the "filename" column that you see more of the file names.

On my other Linux machine I see all 26 files...any clue why
I do not see all the public_html files on the remote side...?

Please mark as solved if the issue is as such. I'd have gone for Nautilus personally. Loads easier.
