STUCK KEYS

HELP!
I am having problems with keys "sticking" down in wine, Firefox, evolution and compiz the problems easy to recreate by holding down the page down key for a few seconds it will no "depress" the key i have changed keyboards updates searched but to no luck. During wine the 'w' key gets stuck causing FPS games to walk uncontrollably. evolution will continually delete mail. please help i have tried removing compiz but nothing seems to work. I am running Ubuntu 64-bit 8.04 with all the updates

Thanks for the question.

You have probably set the accessibility settings in a way that it catches "stuck" keys. Go into your configuration settings (I am not sure if you use Gnome or KDE), go to accessibility and disable "sticky keys" features.
