Sin sonido en Gutsy (ubuntu 7.10) Toshiba Satellite A205-S4639 (no sound)

Hola, mi problema es el siguiente:

No puedo reproducir ningun sonido, aparentemente esta bien instalado ya que el icono de sonido me permite subir y bajar el volumen, asi como el totem puede reproducir los mp3 pero no suena nada en mis bocinas, ni siquiera puedo escuchar el sonido de inicio en ubuntu... el Alsamixer funciona bien, digo, puedo mover el volumen y todo pero no escucho nada.

Hi.. I dont have any sound in my laptop Toshiba Satellite A205-s4639... i have try some possible solutions but i cant fix it... the sound icon its whit 100% of sound and i can reproduce mp3 but i dont have any sound in my speakers... so i cant hear the sound when ubuntu starts.

Alsamixer works fine... well i can move the sound but i dont hear any thing
