nothing on desktop after installing ubuntu 13.04

I installed Ubuntu 13.04 and replaced Windows 7, after installation successful I restarted my PC and there was nothing to no launcher or icon on desktop only default wallpaper is shown. Mouse arrow is visible and I am able to right-click and able to access it's options. But there are no Icon, Application, and anything else. Please help me.

Raring (Ubuntu 13.04) is EOL and in no way supported.

I suggest you wipe Raring off and do a clean install of Trusty (Ubuntu 14.04). Trusty is LTS and is supported til April 2019.
